Action Funding
YEAS is all about supporting student action ideas.
This includes the $$ to make them a reality!
We recognize that your inspiration and capacity to take on action projects is often on a more urgent time scale than our spring youth summit. Because of this, YEAS is now accepting action project proposals on a ROLLING basis. This means that you don't have to wait until the spring to access funds to make your project happen. Ready to jump in? Here are some tips:

Start working with a team of friends or classmates to identify a local issue that you want to tackle. Really dig in to understand the root cause of the issue, what policies and practices contribute to it, and what it would take to solve it.

Brainstorm creative solutions and select the action that you think would be most impactful and realistic to carry out.

Start to develop your action idea and reach out to us if you need ideas/support. We can connect you with other organizations/efforts that may help take your idea to the next level.

Once you're feeling good about your idea, start to put together your proposal using these Guidelines. You'll need to create a short video or written narrative, a timeline, and a budget.

Submit these materials via email to info@yeasummit.org. We'll get back to you within a few weeks to let you know if we can fund it!
